Faris Alomran MBBS, MD, DES, DESC

Dr. Faris Alomran, MBBS, MD, DES, DESC is a Head section of Vascular Surgery at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre. In addition to multiple hospital organizing & scientific committee positions Dr. Alomran also serves as the Deputy Residency Program Director for General Surgery. Previous staff appointments include as an attending Vascular Surgeon at Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou (Hôpitaux Universitaires Paris-Ouest), Service de Chirurgie Cardiovasculaire, Paris, France. Dr. Alomran received his medical degree from St George’s Hospital -University of London- in 2005. In 2013, he received double French Board certification in General Surgery (DES) and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (DESC) from Sorbonne University, Paris, France.

He has authored and co-authored multiple research works published in reputed international scientific journals. He has also gained multiple international awards for his contributions to the scientific community.

Today, Dr. Alomran is an international faculty member of multiple European, North/South American, and Asian scientific meetings as well as being a proctor and consultant to a number of medical device manufacturers.
