Fareeha Amber Sadiq MBChB, MRCPsych

Dr Fareeha Amber Sadiq is a UK trained Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Camali Clinic, Dubai. She is also known by children and families, and professionals she meets as Dr Amber.

Dr Amber trained as a medical doctor at the University of Glasgow. Following graduation, she completed General and Adult Psychiatry training at Gartnaval Royal Hospital, Glasgow and Royal Free Hospital, London as well as further specialist Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training at the Tavistock Clinic, London. At the Tavistock Clinic, she became interested in different models of psychotherapy, and developed a flexible and evidence based approach working to management of children and young people with mental health issues. These approaches include cognitive behavioural therapy, mentalisation based therapy, psychodynamic, systemic, family and parenting models. She has also worked in community, day service and inpatient Child and Adolescent mental health settings.
