Fania Pagnamenta MA, RN

Fania Pagnamenta is a Clinical Academic Nurse Consultant for Tissue Viability in a trailblazing post that offers the best of both worlds. She delivers expert hands-on care and undertakes research that has a rapid clinical impact. She also co-leads a regional multi-professional Healing Clinic for Complex Wounds. She is the Professional Lead for wound care in Nuth and co-chair for Tissue Viability within the Shelford Group, which is a collaboration between ten of the largest teaching and research NHS hospital trusts in England.

Academically, she works at Northumbria University as a researcher, and her interests pertain to leg ulceration, clinical pathways, and ways to prevent simple wounds from becoming chronic ulceration.
