Dr. Fam Xeng Inn is a Consultant Urologist at UKM Specialist Centre, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
Dr. Fam attained his Degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master's Degree of Doctor of General Surgery (Dr. Gen Surg) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He subspecialized in Urology and was awarded Urology Fellowship by the Royal of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow FRCS (Urol) (Glasg). He is a certified urologist by the Malaysian Board of Urology (MBU).
His expertise is in the treatment of kidney, bladder, prostate, testis and adrenal cancer, kidney, ureteral stone, benign prostate enlargement, and other urological diseases. He has vast experience in the management of complicated urological tumors, stones diseases benign prostate enlargement, and penile paranoia.
He completed his fellowship in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery in the Urology Department, 301 Chinese People Liberation Army General Hospital, Beijing China, 2018. The urology department of this hospital is the world's leading center in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He was trained under Professor Zhang Xu who is a well-known figure in laparoscopic and robotic urology surgery. He is a certified console surgeon for da Vinci Robotic Surgical System.
Dr. Fan obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Master of Surgery from the National University of Malaysia. He then went on to study urology and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, Scotland. He is a certified urologist by the Malaysian Urological Council.
Dr. Fan is an associate professor of urology, specializing in endoscopic urology, laparoscopic and robotic urology (non-invasive and minimally invasive). He specializes in the treatment of kidney, bladder, prostate, testicular tumors, kidney, ureteral stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and various urological diseases. He has extensive experience in the management of complex urological oncology, calculi, and benign prostatic hyperplasia diseases.
In 2018, he performed specialist training in laparoscopic and robotic urology surgery at the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital in Beijing. Laparoscopic and robotic urinary surgery at this hospital is world-renowned and second to none. And Dr. Fan's mentor, Dr. Zhang Xu's laparoscopic and robotic urinary surgery is world-renowned.
Dr. Fan is also a certified robotic surgery specialist with the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System.
