Faiz Mumtaz MBBS, MD, FRCS( England), FRCS(Urol)

Mr Faiz Mumtaz (MD, FRCS Eng, FRCS Urol) is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital. He had his postgraduate urological training in London at Royal Free Hospital and University college London. He has over the last 13 years developed a specialist interest in laparoscopic and robotic renal surgery. His expertise also includes surgery for renal tumours involving the cava/atrium as well as cytoreductive surgery to remove large kidney tumours prior to or following targeted immunotherapy for kidney cancer.

He has also established robotic renal surgery at the Royal Free Hospital and now routinely performs robotic removal of kidney tumours and reconstruction of obstructed kidneys. He also performs laparoscopic surgery for kidney and ureteric stones.

In addition to his specialist interest in renal surgery he is able to offer assessment and treatment for general urological conditions such as enlargement of prostate gland, elevated PSA, haematuria, urinary tract symptoms, circumcision and erectile dysfunction.
