Biography :

Priv-Doz. Dr. med. Fabian Krause is Senior Physician for Foot and Ankle Surgery at the University Clinic for Orthopedic Surgery of the Inselspital Bern. After three years of orthopedic and accident surgery internship in Werneck near Würzburg and Hannover, the native of Hamburg completed his specialist training (FMH Orthopedic Surgery) in Switzerland at the renowned Inselspital. Priv-Doz. Dr. med. Krause teaches orthopedics and traumatology of foot and ankle at the University of Bern. For his habilitation, he completed a one-year Foot and Ankle Fellowship in Vancouver, Canada.
He was also selected for the International Travel Grant from the American Society of Foot and Ankle Surgery (AOFAS).he is also a committee member of the "group of experts foot" of the Swiss society for Orthopedic surgery (SGOT) in addition to the board work for the Swiss society for foot surgery (SFAS).His current scientific work focuses on studies on the biomechanics and back foot arthrosis of the foot and on traumatology and reconstructive surgery of complex diseases and injuries to the foot and ankle.
