F. Lee Tucker MD

Dr. Tucker has served as a board member of the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) and is currently an accreditation surveyor for the NAPBC. He has been instrumental in comprehensive breast center development including quality management program design, integrated breast disease database implementation and breast center leadership development. Dr. Tucker formerly was Medical Director of the Carilion Breast Care Center and founding director of the Carilion High-Risk Breast Genetics Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia.

Dr. Tucker is the founding President of Virginia Biomedical Laboratories LLC, providing expert breast pathology and research consultation and direct-to-patient pathology interpretation and navigation services. He served as Chairman of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Carilion Clinic, charter member of the Carilion Clinic Board of Governors, assistant clinical professor pathology at the University of Virginia, a Director of the Carilion Health System and a member of the governing board of the Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke. He is a member of the Honorary Medical Staff of Carilion Clinic.
