Evert Jan Van Lente

Evert Jan van Lente studied economics in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Goettingen (Germany) and is director EU-Affairs at the AOK, statutory Health Insurance Germany, -Federal Association. He is based in Brussels and Berlin. Until December 2013 he was Deputy Director of the Care Management / Contracting Department of AOK-Federal Association, responsible for care management and prevention. The AOK-Group is the leading statutory health insurance with 24 Million insured persons in all states of Germany. Prior to joining the AOK he was management consultant in the Netherlands, served as deputy director of a company specialized on IT-Services for health funds in Germany and headed the AOK contracting department in Hannover (Lower Saxony).
