Evelyn Sbar MD

Evelyn Sbar, MD, serves as a physician for the U.S. Federal Government. She is trained as a family practice physician with additional qualifications in headache medicine. A Texas native, she worked for the Department of the Army in Germany and the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity in Wisconsin before returning to her roots as Vice-Chair of the TTUHSC Family Medicine Residency Department in Amarillo from 2014 to 2022. Grandchildren have brought her back to the Midwest with a current duty station in Illinois.

She is a member of the National Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice, and an author/co-author of numerous publications. Her current practice focuses on the medical care of disadvantaged populations and public health.
