Evelien De Jong

Evelien de Jong has its training Internist-infectiologist completed in 2010 at the VU University Medical Center. During her training in infectious disease she became interested and involved in scientific research in acute care, particularly in Intensive Care. In May 2013 she completed her fellowship ICU.

Currently she is working as intensivist in combination with doing doctoral research into infectious diseases in the ICU. Here she is principal investigator of the study SAPS. This is a multi-center study, where 10 Dutch Intensive Care Units to participate.
