Dr. Eve J. Denton is a current Asthma and Allergy fellow at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. After finishing her M.B.B.S(Hons) in 2008 she completed Basic Physician Training at the Alfred Hospital where she then undertook Respiratory and Sleep Medicine training at both the Alfred Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospitals in Melbourne prior to qualifying as a Respiratory and Sleep Physician in 2016.
During her basic and advanced training, she completed a Master of Public Health at Monash University focusing on clinical research and culminating in a minor thesis in lung cancer epidemiology.
She has expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic lung ultrasound as well as pleural procedures and holds a Certificate in Clinician Performed Ultrasound through the Australian Society for Ultrasound Medicine.
Her research interests are Pulmonary Hypertension, Sleep Medicine, Asthma, Allergy, Lung Transplant, Lung Cancer, General Respiratory Medicine, and Lung Ultrasound.
