Eve Bukowski currently serves as Vice President of Patient Advocacy, Outreach, and Education. In that capacity, Eve directs CLSA’s efforts across a range of issues related to supporting the development of innovative treatments and ensuring patient access to care.

Eve has been fighting Stage 4 colon cancer for more than 11 years during which time she has undergone more than 60 surgeries, 4 clinical trials, 5 rounds of radiation, 4 different immunotherapy protocols and every chemotherapy on the market for colorectal cancer. In addition to having colon cancer, Eve has been treated for several other associated medical issues including lymphedema and a colorectal fistula. Through her extensive experience as a patient, Eve has become a powerful advocate for the life sciences community since the sector must continue to innovate and thrive in order for Eve and her fellow patients to lead healthy and productive lives.

Prior to joining CLSA, Eve served as executive director for TechNet, a trade association representing biotechnology, clean technology, high-tech, venture capital firms, and social media companies. During her tenure, she was responsible for developing and implementing TechNet’s legislative agenda and strategy. Eve also served as the government affairs manager at the Port of Oakland for nearly 12 years, where she directed all Port interaction with federal, state and local government officials.
