Dr. Evangelia Myttaraki is a paediatric and neonatal doctor and PhD student at King’s College London, with clinical and academic interests spanning paediatrics, neonatology, perinatology, and reproductive medicine. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care, focusing on interprofessional collaboration in high-risk pregnancy.

Dr. Myttaraki holds an MD, an MSc in Clinical Embryology from the University of Oxford, and postgraduate qualifications including MRCPCH and a Master’s degree in healthcare leadership and management. Her clinical training includes paediatric and neonatal subspecialty experience within the NHS, with work in neonatal intensive care at King’s College Hospital.

Her professional interests center on improving maternal and neonatal outcomes by strengthening collaboration between obstetric, neonatal, and multidisciplinary teams. She developed the Obstetric Neonatal Interest Teaching (ONIT) initiative, designed to bridge prenatal and postnatal care through multidisciplinary education and teamwork. Her work on ONIT was published in BMJ Paediatrics Open in 2025.

Dr. Myttaraki is also involved in neonatal education and professional development and has contributed to research and academic activities in perinatal medicine. Her combination of clinical expertise, research training, and commitment to interdisciplinary education reflects her broader goal of advancing integrated care for mothers and newborns.
