Evan McCabe is the Immediate Past Chair of the Governing Board of Directors for WomenHeart: The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease. Evan is a patient with heart disease, is a current heart research patient, a Department of Defense Consumer Grant Reviewer, a former research RN, and a political advocate for women’s heart health. She has advocated for heart disease at the local, state, and national level, and is especially interested in advocating for the funding of women’s heart health research.
