Eva Irene Bossano Prescott MD, DMSc, FESC

Dr. Prescott is a professor in the Cardiology Department at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital. Her Current research includes Epidemiological, clinical observational, experimental, and randomized trials.

In recent years Professor Prescott has initiated and participated in several national and international randomized trials of secondary prevention and rehabilitation in cardiovascular disease. She is the PI of a large multicenter study of women with angina and no obstructive epicardial disease focusing on the role of microvascular dysfunction. Professor Prescott has served the CPC and several ESC guidelines, has chaired the ESC working group on prevention, epidemiology, and population science is a member of the Danish Council for Independent Research, and received The Danish Society of Cardiology Scientific Research Award in 2012.
