Eva Klopocki studied biology at the University of Ulm between 1994 and 2000. Dissertation on the topic: "Expression Analysis and Functional Characterization of Two New Tumor Suppressor Candidates of Mammary Cancer" from 2000 - 2003 at metaGen Pharmaceuticals in Berlin rer. nat. at the Faculty of Biology, Freie Universität Berlin (2004).

"Master of Business Administration (MBA) Biotechnology and Medical Engineering" at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, University of Potsdam (2005-2007). From 2003-2012 she was a research group leader at the Institute for Medical Genetics and Human Genetics at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. During 2006-2012 Eva Klopocki led the Array CGH Laboratory at the Institute of Medical Genetics of the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the LaborBerlin GmbH in Berlin. Since October 2012 University professor for human genetics at the University of Würzburg. Eva Klopocki received scientific awards from the German Society for Human Genetics and the European Society for Human Genetics.
