Esther completed her undergraduate studies in physiotherapy at McGill University and in medicine at the University of Hong Kong. She obtained specialist qualifications in family medicine from the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in 2014. She joined the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care at the University of Hong Kong as Clinical Assistant Professor in 2012. Passionate in both medical education and research, she spearheads teaching clinical problem-solving skills and focuses her research on non-communicable disease management in primary care, particularly multi-disciplinary and lifestyle interventions.
