Esther Molenwijk

Ms. Molenwijk is the owner of 'Bureau DaadWerk' (free translation Real Value Agency), at which she has advised over 25 companies on their sustainability strategy and actions. Additionally, she is a trainer and lecturer on the subject of sustainability.

During a project finding a new sustainable resource for a client, Esther learned about hemp and within a short time became fascinated by the enormous potential of this crop for a sustainable future. She is currently working on setting up The Hemp Challenge, an initiative aimed at accelerating the development of industrial hemp in the Netherlands by educating and inspiring farmers, manufacturers and consumers. The Hemp Challenge will be launched in the summer of 2014, hence the World Hemp Congress in Slovenia is an excellent chance to learn and further develop this initiative.
