Esther L. Yue MD, MCR, FAAP

Dr. Yue joined the Department of Emergency Medicine at OHSU as part-time faculty in July of 2014. Dr. Yue specializes in caring for children in the Pediatric Emergency Department. She is an advocate for children and their families during times of crises, whether it is a fever in the middle of the night, a playground injury or a bad tummy ache.

Dr. Yue's research interests involve minimizing radiation exposure in the evaluation of children in the Emergency Department. Specifically, she investigated the use of Quick-Brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging for the detection of shunt malfunction in children with VP shunts. Dr. Yue is also interested in emergency medicine residency education and simulation education.
