Esther Kuehn a neuroscientist by training. Esther Kuehn holds a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Münster and an M.Sc. in Neuroscience from the University of Otago and the Humboldt University Berlin. Esther Kuehn obtained her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig in 2013. After working as a DAAD Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences at University College London, She joined the DZNE Magdeburg in 2015 as CNPS Postdoctoral Fellow. Between 2019 and 2022, she was the group leader of the research group "Cortical Microstructure in Health and Disease" at the IKND Magdeburg.
Since 2022, she has been a W2-Professor for "Translational Imaging of Cortical Microstructure" at the Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research (HIH) Tübingen.
