Esther García García-Esquinas is a Epidemiologist at Autonomous University of Madrid and the Carlos III Health Institute. She graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2005, and in 2006 she studied the Master of Public Health at the National School of Health. She specialized in Preventive Medicine and Public Health (MPSP) at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital (2010), and upon completion of the specialty, she obtained a "Río Hortega" Competitive Research Training Contract (2011-2013). During the years 2009/2012 she received predoctoral training in epidemiological research at the Bloomberg School of Public Health (John Hopkins University, Baltimore). At the beginning of 2014, she obtained her doctorate from MPSP, and from the years 2014-2017, she worked at UAM as a researcher and honorary professor.
