Dr Berrocoso received her degree in Pharmacy in 2000 (University of Sevilla, Spain) and a PhD degree in Neuropharmacology in 2007 (University of Cadiz, Spain). She had a post doctoral experience at the Prof. Peter McNaughton Lab (University of Cambridge, UK) and is currently a full-time Associate Professor at the Psychobiology Area, University of Cádiz. Her current research focuses on the affective disorders caused by chronic pain and the role of the monoaminergic system in these disorders.
