Ester Banque MBA

Ester Banque is a senior vice president and head intercontinental commercial with Bristol-Myers Squibb. A successful global executive with a portfolio of accomplishments in multiple geographies, she has consistently delivered significant innovation while remaining patient-centric, ensuring the broadest possible access to critically-needed treatments.

In her current role, Banque oversees the diverse and dynamic Intercontinental region, with responsibilities across the globe. She began her career as a sales representative at Novartis where she was quickly promoted to positions of increasing responsibility, across a wide spectrum of treatment areas. She most recently served as general manager and head of oncology in Germany.

Banque has been recognized around the world as a role model and mentor, receiving many awards and citations, including the Women Worth Watching Award, Women Inspiring Women Worldwide Award, and a finalist for Europharma’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Banque was educated in Spain, earning a BSc in chemistry and an MBA.
