Essi Viding BSc, PhD

Essi Viding received her PhD training (2000-2004) on the 4-year MRC Social Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry (SGDP) interdisciplinary PhD programme, at Institute of Psychiatry, KCL - supervised by Professor Francesca Happe. After PhD she got an ESRC post-doctoral research fellowship to work with Professor Robert Plomin, also at the SGDP Centre. In 2005 she started a lecturership at UCL. She is currently Professor of Developmental Psychopathology at the Clinical, Educational, and Health Psychology Research Department, Division of Psychology and Language Sciences, UCL.
