Esmeralda Salas DNP

Esmeralda Santacruz Salas is an Assistant Teacher at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Cuenca, Castilla La Mancha, Spain. She is a Specialist in Family and Community Nursing and a Doctor in Nursing. She also has a master’s degree in sexual education and therapy and another in research.

Prof. Salas has carried out professional work as a nurse at different levels of care and areas of specialization for 16 years. During these years, in addition to her care tasks, she launched the first breastfeeding workshop in the city, wrote a book on breastfeeding for professionals in the area, and began research tasks with two studies and their respective publications.
