Esmaeil Mortaz PhD

Esmaeil Mortaz Received his Ph.D. in 2005 in Molecular Biology and Biochemical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Utrecht University, The Netherlands. He is currently a Postdoc fellow at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. He is also an associate professor at the National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. His research is focused on the effect of cigarette smoke on Toll-like receptors on neutrophils and dendritic cells and their role in the development of lung diseases and COPD.
