Erwin Oechslin MD, FRCPC, FESC

Dr. Erwin Oechslin moved to Toronto from Zurich, Switzerland, in January 2006, to take on the Directorship of the Congenital Cardiac Centre for Adults located at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, University Health Network, Toronto General Hospital.

Dr. Oechslin’s research interests include long-term outcomes of patients with congenital heart disease, cyanotic congenital heart disease, psychological sequelae, evaluation of ventricular performance and interventricular interaction by echocardiography, and non-compaction of the myocardium. He has written more than peer-reviewed 90 publications and 8 book chapters and has co-edited one book.
