Erwan Drouelle started his medical studies in Nancy, France, then he settled in Strasbourg for his specialist training in Cardiology. In 2017, he defended his doctoral thesis about the interest in longitudinal strain in patients undergoing TAVR.
After his residency, he worked as a doctor for 2 years in Haguenau's hospital, taking part in the ICU and catheterism laboratory departments. After that, he moved to New Caledonia in order to work at Nouméa's public hospital and travel around the Pacifique region. Currently, he is traveling and working in a locum.
His research interests are Cardiology, Vascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Transesophageal Ultrasound, Cardiological Intensive Care, Heart Failure, and Angiology.
