Dr Buitendag spent time in General Practice and Emergency Medicine in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Lesotho and Antarctica. He returned from Canada in 2015 to join the practice and with his experience in chronic pain medicine soon established an essential Chronic Pain Clinic in Port Elizabeth.
