Dr. Erin Keely is Chief, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Ottawa Hospital and Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Obstetrics/Gynecology at the University of Ottawa. She is a member of the Ministry of Health Expert Panel on diabetes and a contributor to the 2008 Canadian Diabetes Association Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Dr. Keely’s research and clinical focus is obstetric medicine with a focus on the postpartum management of women with gestational diabetes. She has served as President of the North American Society of Obstetric Medicine and is an executive member of the Canadian Diabetes in Pregnancy Interest Group.
