Erika da Silva Maciel received her degree in Physical Education from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (2001) with a specialization in Physical Activity and Quality of Life at the State University of Campinas (2003) and a Master in Food Science and Technology from the University of São Paulo (2006). Doctor of quality food at the scene- University of São Paulo (2011) and Pos doctor by the Department of Agribusiness, Food and Nutrition at University of São Paulo (2013). She is a Postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Agroindustry, Food, and Nutrition (USP-ESALQ), Postdoctoral degree in Sciences from the Department of Internal Medicine (FCM-USP), and a Postdoctoral degree in Health Sciences from FMABC. She works mainly on the following topics: physical activity, food consumption and quality of life, health promotion, and vulnerable populations.
