Erika Landau

Born in Romania, BA in Fine Arts, MD from Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Pediatric internship and residency at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, research fellowship at The Rockefeller University, New York. Author of "The Essential Guide to Your Baby's First Year", Penguin, 2011 and several awards winning artist. I am an assistant professor of pediatrics at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. I teach microbiology, history and physical exam and "The interplay of art and medicine" course. I lecture nationally and internationally on art and medicine, child abuse and domestic violence prevention , physicians' wellness, empowering young women.
