Erika D'Agata, M.D., M.P.H., an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, is the principal investigator.The study is designed to determine whether oral Ramoplanin can reduce the transmission of VRE by decreasing skin contamination through gastrointestinal (GI) decolonization.
