Erik Klok is Professor of Medicine and internist vascular medicine specialist in the Leiden University Medical Center. He is head of the residence program of vascular medicine, medical lead of the Anticoagulation Clinic Leiden, and guest scientist at the University of Mainz (Germany). He chairs the LUMC committee Good Research Practice and Committee for Selection and Admission of the Bachelor and Master program of Medicine, as well as the Dutch Society of Vascular Medicine, Dutch Thrombosis Network, EXPERT-PE Europe, and is chair-elect of the ESC workgroup on pulmonary circulation and right ventricular function.
