Erica Harris

Erica previously served as a Chiropractor and Kinesiologist renown in the athletic community of Vancouver. She gained extensive business expertise having founded, owned, operated and subsequently sold a very successful practice. Erica has passionately exemplified a healthy lifestyle through active pursuits in the great outdoors and the highest quality nutrition. In turn, the diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (A.M.L.) in early June 2012 came as a sudden shock. After not responding to even the most aggressive of chemotherapy regimens during her 2 month stay at Vancouver General Hospital, she was given a terminal prognosis with an expected time frame of 2­6 mth having only palliative care being offered as further treatment. This prognosis was further confirmed by a second opinion from another leading leukemia centre at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Centre. After being literally encircled by an amazing network of support from all over the world, while pursing any and every treatment that resonated in the alternative health care realm, having the ongoing strength and never failing faith.
