Eric W. Wang, M.D. is Associate Professor of Otolaryngology, Neurological Surgery, and Ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Director of Education for the UPMC Center for Cranial Base Surgery. He completed his otolaryngology residency at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis. During his residency, Dr. Wang completed an NIH sponsored research fellowship. Dr. Wang then completed a one-year fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Wang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), the American Rhinological Society, and the North American Skull Base Society. He has received several honors and awards including an Honor Award from the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and is consistently listed amongst the Best Doctors in America.

Dr. Wang specializes in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery. His areas of focus include revision endoscopic sinus surgery, orbital decompression, repair of CSF leaks, and management of sinonasal and anterior cranial fossa tumors. His current research interests include outcomes and quality of life assessment in patients undergoing endoscopic skull base resections.
