Eric R. Williams MS, CPM

Mr. Williams has over (20) years of supply chain management experience. Mr. Williams started his career in the mining sector and worked extensively across Chile and Argentina. Mr. Williams then transitioned to biomedical research and healthcare in 2000, and has been with the UT System the last (10) years both at MD Anderson and UTMB.

Mr. Williams has extensively led collaborative efforts between research, clinical, and administrative professionals to solve complex institutional challenges with innovation and determination to drive successful outcomes. Some of his accomplishments include negotiation and implementation of numerous Master Contracts that have resulted in over $150M in cost savings. Mr. Williams has unique healthcare business knowledge and experiences that span from the “bench to the bedside”.

Mr. Williams is a graduate of U.C.L.A, and served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic and Argentina. Mr. Williams is a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) from the Institute for Supply Chain Management. He enjoys the outdoors and lives in Houston with his wife, two children, and dog.
