Eric Roeland, MD is a dual fellowship-trained and board-certified palliative care and medical oncology physician. His palliative care practice includes all cancer patients while his oncology clinical practice focuses on the care of patients with GI cancers, specifically esophageal, gastroesophageal, and gastric cancers.

Dr. Roeland’s career focuses on improving the quality of life for symptomatic cancer patients by identifying, validating, and expanding pharmacologic interventions to minimize suffering. He serves as the American Society of Clinical Oncology Co-Chair for the Supportive Care and Cachexia/Nutrition Guidelines Committees. He is committed to improving the quality of life of cancer patients, minimizing toxicity, and improving our ability to treat cancer.
