Eric J. Christopher MD, FAPA

Dr. Christopher practices out of our new Wilmington Office. He is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he received his M.D. degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He moved to North Carolina to complete his residency training at Duke University Medical Center and has been a resident of NC for 20+ years and is proud to call it home. He received Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Consult-Liaison Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine. He practiced at Duke University for close to 20 years where he was an Associate Professor and Medical Director for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Sciences. He has moved to Wilmington to work at PPD and maintains his clinical practice with TBR in Wilmington. He has written several articles and book chapters. He is certified to place buprenorphine implants. He enjoys working with patients with complex medical, psychiatric and addiction issues.
