Eric A. P. Steegers MD, PhD

Eric Steegers is a Professor in the department head of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Erasmus MC. His research is related to the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease Paradigm. In doing so, hr focuses on the pathophysiology of suboptimal embryonic growth and development and placental formation in the first trimester of pregnancy and its consequences for fetal and maternal health during pregnancy and beyond.
