Dr. Joffe, is a hemato-oncologist and a biomedical informatician. He is a visiting advanced oncology fellow at the Lymphoma Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He has a Master’s degree in Information Technology, and completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at UT Health/MD Anderson, where he was the recipient of a career development grant in computational biology, from the Keck Foundation. Dr. Joffe holds the rank of Lecturer (equivalent to an assistant professor) from the Tel Aviv University, Sackler School of Medicine. His research interests lie in automatic extraction of clinical phenotypes from electronic databases, large scale genome-phenotype association studies, and advanced survival modeling.
