Erdogan Cetinkaya

Prof. Dr. Erdogan CETINKAYA He was born in 1962 in Elazig. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Elazig. He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1987. He completed his compulsory service in Kastamonu İhsangazi in 1987-1989. In 1989, he started his assistantship in Chest Diseases at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Center. He became a Chest Diseases specialist in 1994. He worked as a Chest Diseases Specialist at Elazig State Hospital for 6 months in June-December 1994.

In 1995, he was appointed as the Chief Assistant to Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Center. He received the title of Associate Professor of Chest Diseases in 2005. He served as the Deputy Chief of the Clinic in 2005-2009, and as the Chief of the Clinic since 2008. In 2012, he was appointed as a professor to Karabuk University Faculty of Medicine. Between 2012 and 2017, he served as the Head of the Department of Chest Diseases, Faculty of Medicine, Karabuk University, and the Educational Assistant at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital. In 2017, he was appointed as a Professor at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Health Practice and Research Center at Health Sciences University. In the same year, he assumed the position of Head of the Department of Chest Diseases, Faculty of Health Sciences, Hamidiye Faculty of Medicine.

He has many scientific studies published in the field of Chest Diseases in international and national peer-reviewed journals. His main fields of study are interventional pulmonology and interstitial lung diseases. He is an editor and a member of the advisory board in international and national peer-reviewed journals. Airline Stent holds National Patent. He has many participation certificates and certificates in the field of Chest Diseases and has taken part as a trainer in many courses.
