Erden Goljo, MD is a practicing cardiac electrophysiologist at Weill Cornell Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell School of Medicine. Dr. Goljo was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina and was raised on Long Island, NY. Growing up, he played many sports including football, wrestling, and lacrosse. He received his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, completed internal medicine training at Yale New Haven Hospital, and completed general cardiology training at Stony Brook University Hospital on Long Island, where he was named chief cardiology fellow.
Goljo finished his final leg of training in cardiac electrophysiology at the Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he now continues his practice. In his medical practice, Dr. Goljo is specialized in treating patients with heart rhythm disorders and provides care in all aspects of clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
