Enrico Conte PhD

Enrico Conte is currently working as a senior researcher at the University of Catania. He got a Biology BSc and Master's degree at the University of Catania (UniCt), Italy, and a Ph.D. in Biochemical and Biomolecular Sciences at Rome 'La Sapienza' University, Italy. He began his research activity studying the biological effects of Cu(II) complexes and their antioxidant properties at the Chemistry Department of UniCt, where he collaborated with the interdisciplinary research group of Prof. E. Rizzarelli. Subsequently, he worked at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, UniCt, in Prof. A. Messina' molecular biology Lab.
