Enrico Armato PhD

Dr. Enrico Armato is a Physician-Surgeon Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and Audiology. Since 1997 he has concentrated his attention in the field of balance disorders (vertigo, dizziness, instability), reaching a high level of specific skills. He has always applied the most recent knowledge in daily practice, both from the point of view of clinical observation and instrumental analysis. He was among the first users in Italy of the methods of recording eye movements related to VideoNystagmusGraphy (VNG) and the Video Head Impulse Test (V-HIT). He is specifically interested in disorders of both spontaneous origins (otolithic vertigo or canalolithiasis, vestibular neuritis or labyrinthitis, Meniere's disease, etc.) and post-traumatic (cervical whiplash injuries or distortions of the cervical spine, non-concussive head trauma, moving skulls, etc.).
