Emma Caroline Rossi MD, FACOG

Dr. Emma Caroline Rossi received her bachelor’s degrees in medicine and physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, completed her OB-GYN residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, and completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology here at UNC OB-GYN. Her primary research interests focus on novel surgical techniques in the treatment of endometrial and cervical cancers, particularly in computer-assisted surgery and image-guided surgery. She has conducted the first-in-human trial of a novel technique for the mapping of sentinel lymph nodes in an attempt to discover a more sensitive technique for identifying lymph node metastases in patients while minimizing the toxicity of surgery. Now, She is working as an Assistant Professor at UNC Gynecologic Oncology in the USA.
