Emma Laing BSc, MSc, PhD, PGCAP

Professor Emma E Laing is a Lead Bioinformatician in Neuroscience and Principal Research Scientist, Eli Lilly, UK and Visiting Professor in Bioinformatics at University of Surrey, UK. She is a Member of BBSRC Bioinformatics and Biological Resources committee and pool of experts, including machine learning. Her interests can be broadly classified into; 1) deployment of computational approaches for the analysis, interpretation, and exploitation of large-scale biologically derived data, and 2) development of computational tools and algorithms for the analysis of biological data.
