Dr. Tonorezos is a general internist who cares for adult survivors of childhood cancer and survivors of adult cancer who received high-risk treatment. As an internist, she has focused her research on health concerns that are common to adult medicine: obesity, insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular disease.
