Emily Morden is a Senior Research Associate in the Quality Measurement and Research Group at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). She is responsible for the development and maintenance of HEDIS measures primarily addressing geriatric and behavioral health care. As an Improvement Advisor, Emily also leads to quality improvement work with health plans through learning collaboratives.

Emily has over 10 years of experience working in the health care field. Prior to coming to NCQA, Emily was an Associate Program Officer at the Institute of Medicine and worked on several studies examining the quality of health care for military service members and veterans. Prior to this, Emily worked in clinical roles as a medical social worker for hospice programs and as a counselor in both adult and adolescent mental health treatment facilities. Emily holds an M.S.W. degree from Portland State University and a B.A. in sociology from the University of Oregon.
