Emily E. Sharpe MD

Emily E. Sharpe, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. She completed medical school at the University of Minnesota, an anesthesiology residency at Mayo Clinic, and an obstetric anesthesiology fellowship at Wake Forest School of Medicine. She is the associate program director for the Obstetric Anesthesiology Fellowship as well as the education director for obstetric anesthesia. Her research interests include optimizing pain control after cesarean delivery enhanced recovery and improving outcomes in the obstetric patient, and neurologic diseases in pregnancy.
